News - Swift - Australian Sage Distributor
A recent visit to Williams Soaring and it's owner Rex Mayes , resulted in Swift Avionics becoming the Australian Sage agent. These instruments are mechanically a piece of art. There are so few moving parts, it's amazing. This instrument devised in the 70's by gliding legend Will Scheumann, use a taut wire mechanism to suspend the vario 'needle'. Now, with audio included, all Sage lovers have had their prayers answered !

Flarm have released firmware V4.07. V4.03 Flarms are still compatible with latest Flarms, but we have noticed that there are some changes with how your Flarm might operate on the ground. Static targets may NOT be visible when using V4.07

The latest remote display from Artronic is an ideal partner for our  miniOZ Flarm "black box".

It comes complete with a custom cable for connection to any Flarm we sell

  • The 12 bright, 2-color LEDs indicate the direction of other FLARM equipped aircraft.
  • The display shows the indication of other (FLARM) traffic in 2 colors
  • Green indicates that aircraft in your area.
  • Red indicates in combination with an audible warning of a potential danger.
  • The traffic position  is indicated by 4 LED's . Hazard more than +/-7 degrees, or more than
    +/-14 degrees above and below.
  • V3 The display can be used in combination with all FLARM basic units.
  • The small size is easily installable in the tightest of panels
     

NOTE: When looking at competitor products, don't forget that Artronic V3 has two-colour LED's like the old OZFlarm, and an extra height orientation LED.
